The Maneesh Sharma-directed movie minted Rs 19 crore and 20 lakh on Day One.
With this, the Yash Raj film has claimed the spot for the biggest opening of the year – Akshay Kumar’s Airlift held the privilege so far.
But it’s not only the box-office numbers that should be celebrated.
What makes Fan an important film in SRK’s career is that the actor has won tremendous appreciation from almost all quarters for his flawless performance – both, as the obsessed fan Gaurav Chanana as well as superstar Aryan Khanna.
